National Engineering Month - Simcoe- Muskoka-Georgian Bay (NEM Simcoe) organizes annual events to celebrate Engineering.

Our main event is held in March; it includes competitions for students in grades 5 to 8 and  demonstrations (for all age groups) . 

Past activities include Popsicle stick bridge, catapult, rubber-powered car competitions, demonstrations & coding of Raspeberry Pi, Arduino computers, radio and electric motor building, water treatment processes, robots, spaghetti structures , Tinker Lab LIVE  where you can get wired with the Barrie Public Library pop-up activity station!, and many more...

Our 2020 event will be held on Saturday March 7th, 2020,

at Georgian College, Barrie.

This event is jointly organized by the Simcoe-Muskoka Chapter of PEO and Georgian Bay Chapter of OACETT, under the banner of NEM Ontario.
